We foster institutional dialogue and cooperation by actively engaging with governmental, non-governmental, and international organizations. This collaborative approach facilitates the exchange of ideas, expertise, and resources, aiming to create a supportive environment for youth development.

We perceive our work with institutional dialogue and cooperation in Albania as crucial in achieving comprehensive solutions for youth challenges. By building partnerships and dialogue, we enable youth voices to be heard at all levels of decision-making, leading to policies and programs that are more responsive to their needs and aspirations.

FES Cooperation

The Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) is the oldest political foundation in Germany with a rich tradition in social democracy dating back to its foundation in 1925. The foundation owes its formation and its mission to the political legacy of its namesake Friedrich Ebert, the first democratically elected German President.

FES is and has been from the beginning the strongest supporter, aide, and partner of the National Youth Congress of Albania. With the belief and confidence that a strong civil society led by youngsters filled with ideals and values that are the roots of nowadays most successful western democracies, a partnership with KRK was deemed as a strategic essentiality.

The work supported and partnered with FES consists of initiatives that seek to improve the local policies and local democracies subsequently. Our collaboration seeks to elaborate and develop structured dialog in Albania and further the involvement of civil society and the state’s institutions in common discussions and work to develop youth policies and strategies that cover youth issues as efficiently as possible.

Swiss Embassy Cooperation

As the official representation of Switzerland, the Embassy covers all matters concerning diplomatic relations between the two countries. It represents Swiss interests in the areas of political, economic, financial, and legal affairs, as well as science, education, and culture. The Embassy of Switzerland in Albania promotes links and exchanges between the two countries in political, economic, and cultural aspects. This includes services for Swiss citizens, regular exchanges with Swiss businesses present in Albania and support for cultural activities between our two countries and within the Western Balkan region.

As cited by the remarks of the Honorable Swiss Ambassador in Albania, Swiss-Albanian relations have become increasingly stronger since the first Swiss representation opened in Tirana in 1992. Switzerland continues to support Albania on its road towards European integration as our country is a priority for Swiss development cooperation. In these regards the cooperation between the Swiss Embassy and the National Youth Congress of Albania was conceived to further the cultural, economic, and societal ties between our countries and assist Albanian youngsters towards their path on becoming the future citizens of the EU.

In Particular our cooperation has been focused on combating the enormous youth migration that hustles Albania. This is done through the Alternative Report in analyzing the performance of the country’s governance in correlation to youth needs and the initiatives of the civil society in relation to improving the current system and with the aim of establishing strategic cooperation in developing policies, preventing and intervene where possible, to decrease unreasonable youth migration and support circular migration.
